America – Led Astray – By the Witless Counsel of Your Wise Men!

The Voice of Jeremiah’s rebuke and prophecy: America, what utter fools are your political leaders, officials, spiritual shepherds, and wise men! The counsel of the wisest counselors of your “king” has become witless—they give him and the people stupid advice! How do they dare tell you that they are the successors to the world’s past scholars and wise men? Their best counsel to the people of America is stupid and wrong. Yet in their arrogance they still boast of their wisdom! 

“King” of America, people of America, where are those clever advisers of yours? Let them tell you, if they are so wise, what the LORD Almighty plans, what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies is going to do to America. The leaders of America—those who are supposed to be the cornerstones of the nation—are  deluded, confused fools. They are supposed to lead the nation, but they have misled it—they have led the people astray.

 The LORD has mingled a spirit of perverseness, error, and confusion within America and made all your clever advisers give baffling advice. He has sent a spirit of foolishness on them, so all their suggestions are wrong. As a result, America, you do everything wrong and stagger like a drunk slipping on his own vomit.

This is what the Sovereign LORD says: The princes of America are complete fools; the advice of your “king’s” wisest advisers has become stupid. How can you men say to your “king,” “I am a son of the wise, a son of ancient kings”? Well then, where are your wise men? Please let them tell you, and let them understand what the LORD of hosts has purposed against America. The princes of America have acted foolishly, the princes of America are deluded; those who are the cornerstone of her people have led America astray. The LORD has mixed within her a spirit of distortion; they have led America astray in all that it does, as a drunken man staggers in his vomit.[1] 

The Voice of Jeremiah’s plea: America, you are an evil, unrepentant nation the judgment hand of Almighty God is coming down upon you! Repent before it is too late—from your “king,” to your “leaders,” to the least of you! Repent and turn back to God. Who knows, God may withdraw His burning anger and relent concerning the calamity which He is about to bring down upon you![2]

America – Civil War is Coming!

The Voice of Jeremiah’s rebuke and prophecy: This message came to me concerning you, America! Look! The LORD is advancing against you, riding on a swift cloud of judgment! Your American false gods will tremble before Him, and you will lose your courage! 

America, be warned! The LORD will soon stir up civil war among your people—He will cause American to fight against American and turn brother against brother and neighbor against neighbor. Rival cities will fight each other, and rival political and civil leaders will struggle for power. America, the LORD is going to confuse and frustrate your plans and destroy your morale.  You will lose heart and in your desperation, you will plead with your false gods for help and wisdom—you will even call on spirits, mediums, and those who consult the spirits of the dead for advice. America, the LORD is about to hand you over to a tyrant, to a hard, cruel, fierce “king” who will rule you! 

This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “An oracle against America. Behold, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud and is about to come to America; the idols of America will tremble at His presence, and the heart of the Americans will melt within them. So I will incite Americans against Americans; and they will each fight against his brother and each against his neighbor, city against city and state against state. Then the spirit of the American people will be demoralized within them; and I will confound their strategy and frustrate their plans. Then they will resort to idols and ghosts of the dead and to mediums and spiritists. Moreover, I will deliver the people of America into the hand of a cruel master, and a mighty king will rule over them,” declares the LORD GOD of heaven’s armies.”[1] 

The Voice of Jeremiah’s plea: O America, overwhelming chaos is coming to your nation! [2] No matter where I look, the LORD shows me ruin and devastation! Even the stable mountains will shake! Only God’s mercy can keep you from complete destruction! [3] But the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, specializes in hopeless cases. He breaks the power of sin and He sets the prisoner free from the bondage of his sin. [4] Repent, mourn your sin, turn back to God, and be saved before it is too late!

America – Do You Want to Return to God?

The Voice of Jeremiah’s plea: O America, do you want to return to God? Then turn back to Him before it’s too late! God will respond positively to you! But your repentance must be honest and sincere. Be faithful to God, America! Remove the idols and all the detestable things from your lives that God hates! Stop going astray after your false gods. Then you will once again be “One nation under God.” Then you will once again be blessed by God. Then you will once again be an example to the world of a godly, God worshipping people and the nations of the world ask God to bless them and they will praise Him! 

The LORD says to the people of America: “O America, if you wanted to return to Me, you could. You could throw away your detestable false gods out of My sight and waver and stray away no more. Then when you would swear by My Name, saying, ‘As surely as the Lord lives,’ you could do so with truth, justice, and righteousness. Then you would be a blessing to the nations of the world, and all people would come and praise My Name.”[1] 

The Voice of Jeremiah’s plea: O America, return to God in true and genuine repentance—not just outward and superficial but inward and heartfelt—or God’s wrath will be released and burn like fire against you! Just as a farmer does not sow his seed on unplowed ground, so God does not sow His seed of blessing in unrepentant hearts. O people of America, the hour is late and you need to break up the unplowed ground of your hearts through sorrowful repentance! 

The LORD says to the people of America: “Plow up your unplowed fields; do not plant your seeds among thorns. Keep your covenant—‘One nation under God’—with Me your LORD and dedicate yourselves to Me, you people of America. If you don’t, My anger will burn like fire because of the evil things you have done. It will burn, and there will be no one to put it out.”[2]
